國民黨團作東邀請行政院在陸軍聯誼社聯誼，並邀府、黨高層，由國民黨籍立委林郁方主辦，黨籍立委約40餘名到場，氣氛熱鬧。
朱立倫致詞時表示，國民黨一定要團結，不是為了黨和個人，而是為了中華民國和台灣，應團結努力，也希望立法院能順利通過很多法案，並建立權責相符的憲政體制，國民黨團很快會提出黨版，一定可以獲得民眾認同。
他說，台灣有很多事要努力，朝野要合作，黨內更要團結，一起為台灣未來打拚。
馬總統致詞時則說，之前曾聽國民黨團到總統府報告修憲案，建立權責相符體制很重要，也希望立法院多開公聽會聽取社會意見，也對相關問題進行民調，讓黨版更為社會接受。他認同朱立倫所說，國民黨一定要繼續團結、繼續改革，讓民眾感受國民黨和他們站在同一邊。
王金平致詞時表示，希望大家更加團結、付出奉獻，這會期的法案、修憲工程很繁重，有勞立委努力，共同完成。
